Dr. Melissa Ferland received her clinical training across a wide range of settings, including hospitals, schools, community mental health centers, and private clinics.  Dr. Ferland provides comprehensive psychoeducational and diagnostic assessments for children and adolescents (age 3 to 17) for a range of presenting neurodevelopmental concerns, with specialization in autism spectrum and  intellectual/developmental disabilities.  In addition, Dr. Ferland offers individualized support to parents/caregivers and children - taking an evidence- and strength-based approach, integrating current research with clinical practice to meet each client’s unique needs and strengths. Dr. Ferland is a proud francophone who grew up in Quebec and made her way to Halifax following her graduate studies in Toronto. She offers her services in English and French.
