Dr. Megan Duffett is a pediatric neuropsychologist specializing in autism and neurodevelopmental assessments for school-age children. She earned her Master’s and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Windsor, with a focus on autism and pediatric rehabilitation. During her residency at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital, she gained specialized training in neuropsychological assessment for brain injuries and developmental disabilities.

For nearly a decade, Dr. Duffett has been a full-time clinician at IWK Health, working with the School Age Autism Team and Neuropsychology Service. She conducts assessments, consults on inpatient and intensive services, and supervises doctoral psychology residents. Actively engaged in professional development, she collaborates with peers to advance best practices in autism assessment.  Her neuro-affirming, strengths-based, and trauma-informed approach emphasizes diversity and culturally sensitive care. Passionate about supporting neurodivergent children and families, she helps them navigate diagnoses and access resources.

At Affinity, Dr. Duffett provides specialized neuropsychological and diagnostic consultation to our multidisciplinary team. As well, as offering ‘second opinion’ consultation for families seeking further clarification or support regarding diagnoses and recommendations.  Outside of work, this proud Newfoundlander enjoys rock climbing, hiking with her husband and corgi, volleyball, and spending time with loved ones.
